Even though I have lived in Seattle for about three years, I am still discovering new and exciting places to eat and drink. When Nelson Yong reached out explore some of the restaurants South Lake Union has to offer, I had to say yes!
We started at The Bravehorse Tavern to play a bit of shuffleboard and sample their tasty happy hour menu. We then headed to get some margaritas next door at Cactus where we couldn’t say no to chips and guac. Their made from scratch margaritas definitely hit the spot, along with their braised brisket tacos.
Our last restaurant on our list was Barbar; known for their Vietnamese street eats. We finished off the night with Moscow Mules, crispy chicken, and noodles. Nelson and I highly recommend all of these places whether its date night, or just a night out with friends.
